Legacy is a mobile photo album app designed to help older adults organize, restore, and share meaningful memories with their families. The goal was to create an experience that feels familiar, personal, and easy to navigate.

Process Work

This project began with a challenge to make digital photo-sharing more accessible for older adults. Through user interviews, I found that many struggled with complicated interfaces, small text, and too many features. These problems made it difficult to organize and share important memories with their families.

Research & Insights

I used user interviews, affinity mapping, and persona building to better understand how older adults interact with digital photo apps. The research highlighted the importance of readable text, simple navigation, familiar interactions, and reducing unnecessary complexity.

Solutions and Branding

Legacy is designed as a digital memory box that helps seniors organize, enhance, and share their memories. Features include voice recordings, photo restoration, automatically organized albums, and memory quizzes.

I used a skeuomorphic, mobile-first design approach with large buttons, high contrast, and familiar visual elements to make the app feel accessible and personal.
